Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival in Leh 3500 meters / 11560 feet & Local Sightseeing

Arrival in Leh, Relax for half day & post lunch visit Leh palace- Palace of the erstwhile Royal King of Ladakh and Shanti Stupa which offers you a panoramic view of entire Leh town, Indus valley and lofty mountain of Zansker & Ladakh range (30 km) O/N stay at Leh.

Day 2: Sham valley tour

Full day local sightseeing to Sham valley includingIndian Army Hall of Fame-A war museum dedicated to the brave martyrs of Indian Army, Spituk Monastery, Magneitc hill, Sangam and Gurudwara Pather Saheb.(100 km) O/N stay at Leh

Day 3: Leh to Pangong Lake (5-6 hours)

After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft, which is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong, is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Upon arrival, visit the location of 3 Idiots also known as shooting point. Later on you can take a walk along the scenic turquoise colored Lake and enjoy its beauty (160 km)O/N stay at Spangmik.

Day 4: Pangong to Leh (5-6 hours)

Return from Pangong Lake via same route, on thw way visit Shey Palace- the former Palace of the Namgyal king of Ladakh, Thiksey monastery-an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, resembling Potala Palace of Tibet and Druk White Lotus school of 3 idiots fame, evening free for shopping and stroll around Leh Bazaar. O/N stay at Leh

Day 5: Leh to Nubra valley (4-5 hours)

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (One of the Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) Arrive at Hundar by afternoon. Lunch at Camp, rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hundar Village and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. O/N stay at Hunder/Diskit - Nubra Valley.

Day 6: Nubra to Leh ( 4-5 hours)

After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery, where you can see the Giant Statue of Maitriya Buddha and have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. O/N stay at Leh.

Day 7: Leh to Tsomriri Lake ( 6-7 hours)

Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomo-riri lake (230 km) situated near Korzok village by passing Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus river. Afterwards stroll around the Lake to enjoy the scenic beauty and visit Korzok Monastery (230 km). O/N stay Korzok Village.

Day 8: Tsomoriri to Leh via Tsokar Lake. (7-8 hours)

After early breakfast leave from Tsomoriri towards Leh via Tsokar Lake ( 14,700 ft)- a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau known for a breeding ground for endangered Black necked crane and Taglangla pass (17,480 ft) on the Manali-Leh highway. Later in the evening free to stroll in the bustling Leh Market for last day shopping (260 km). O/N stay at Leh.

Day 9: Fly back from Leh.
