Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival Leh

On the first day of your exclusive bike tour package from Leh to Leh, our tour representative will meet you at the airport, from where you will have an assisted check- into your hotel. The evening is reserved for getting acclimatized to the higher altitude of Leh. You can visit the local markets and explore some shopping options or gorge in the mouthwatering local food.Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Leh.

Day 2: Leh – Alchi – Leh

On the second day of your Leh Ladakh bike trip package , we start from Leh and drive towards the Sham valley. On the way towards Sham valley, we shall visit the beautiful Alchi monastery and Likir monastery.The Alchi monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. It was built between the 10th century and the 11th century by Master Rinchen Zangpo. The entire monastery is painted with small minute paintings. Excellent wood artwork and beautiful Buddha statues will welcome you at the Alchi monastery. The Likir monastery is another beautiful monastery located on your way. Constructed during the reign of the fifth king of Ladakh, the original Likir monastery was ruined in a fire during the 11th century and it was rebuilt in the 18th century. Mesmerizing Paintings and idols of Amitabh Buddha, Sakya Muni and bodhisattva adorn the assembly halls of Likir monastery.Then go straight to the magnetic hill which is a small stretch of road located on the Leh-Kargil highway. Here stationary vehicles are pulled upwards by a mysterious force and hence the name, the magnetic hill is given to this place. Feel some Pride by visiting the military Hall of Fame Museum which is dedicated to the soldiers of the Indian Army who laid down their lives in this hilly battlefront. See the weapons, arms and ammunition and other artifacts related to operation Vijay (the Kargil war). The equipment used by the Indian army in the world's highest battleground, Siachen glacier are also on display in this museum.Later in the evening return to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Leh - Nubra Valley-

After your energizing breakfast, you will leave for Nubra Valley. Located on the trading route which connects Tibet with Turkistan on the famous Karakoram pass, Nubra valley is a place, where many believe the forgotten city of Shangri-La lies. On our way towards Nubra valley, you shall cross the famous Khardung La pass which is situated at an altitude of 18,379 feet above the sea level. One of the highest motorable passes in India, the Khardung La pass is an important pass leading towards Siachen glacier. The eye-catching beauty of the region will feel your heart with joy and your lungs with fresh air.Once we reach in the Nubra Valley, we stopover at either Sumoor village or the Diksit village across the river. You can explore the picturesque Sumoor village today which is a quiet village located in the Nubra Valley. Visit the monastery of Samsten ling Gompa and spend some peaceful moments in this spiritual place. You could even choose to meditate here along with the monks with the river of Nubra and Shyok River acting as background music.Overnight stay at the hotel in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley – Leh

Today we visit the Diskit Monastery located in the Diskit village which is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist monasteries in Ladakh. Founded in the 14 century the Diskit monastery is an important pilgrimage site for the yellow hat set of Tibetan Buddhism. A magnetic 106 feet tall statue of Maitreya Buddha is the major attraction in the Diskit monastery. Experience a camel ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel at the Hunder sand dunes. Located at an altitude of 5,000 meters the Hunder sand dunes are a treat to watch. Please note that the camel ride is an optional activity and you need to pay directly here if you want to do this activity.We drive back to Leh in the afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 5: Leh - Pangong Lake

After having your hot breakfast we move to visit Pangong Lake. Situated at an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level, the Pangong Lake holds the title of being the highest saltwater lake in the world. Blue waters, brown and white mountains and blue skies, the scene at the Pangong Lake seems to be straight out of a painter's imagination. Take a stroll around the lake, splash some water and fill in your lungs with fresh clean mountain air. The Pangong Tso Lake will be etched in your memory for an eternity. On our way to the Pangong Tso Lake, we shall drive by the Chang La. Sip some hot steaming black coffee at a nearby canteen on the Chang La pass and experience the thrill of being on the third highest motorable mountain pass in the world.Overnight stay in camp nearby the Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong Lake -Leh

We head back towards Leh after you have your mouth watering local Ladakhi breakfast. On our way, you will find the beautiful town of Karu which is flanked on both sides by snowcapped mountains and contains some of the most scenic views in the entire Ladakh region.You will cross the famous Indus River on this route. The rest of the day is at your leisure. If you will have time and energy then you can explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the local market. You can buy souvenirs for your loved ones.Take a hot shower, have a relaxing dinner and just sip some hot coffee talking into the night with the mighty Himalayas serving as the perfect backdrop. Overnight stay will be at your hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Drop to Leh Airport
